Syd Mead... SCAD November 5th... GASM!!!!

Now I'm not usually a celebranerd, but dang it I just heard that Syd Mead (concept artist for Blade Runner, Aliens, and Tron) will be coming and doing a presentation at SCAD on November 5th and I had a little "nerdgasm".

So those here in Savannah if you miss this you're a moron, those who are not in Savannah I'm sorry but um... nener nener nener!

Well I WENT to SCAD, now I work there and now I'm applying for my MA or MFA (I've got 2 weeks to decide).
It's really not too hard to get accepted to SCAD, basically if you have the will to pay the bill or if you have the skill you can get in to SCAD.

well I applied like last year and they dragged their feet so I couldn't get any scholarships to help pay to go and any scholarships I had, SCAD didnt accept

Yeah the bursar's office is super slow. The key is getting in there and talking to them face to face.
